Fo me, creating art starts with the urge to play with colour on paper. Or wood, or whatever is handy. Other days, it may be that I just want to capture a feeling. Or emotion, with no thoughts on how to get thee .
Once I have some colour down, I begin to simply relax into myself, if that makes any sense. It is a visceral and comfortable sensation. Splashing colour around grounds me, connecting me to everything around me. If I’m lucky, I disappear into my art and stop thinking. That makes for a very good day in the studio.
Unless artwork states ‘unframed’, all art work is framed; or painted on a Galley wrapped canvas; or mounted on wooden cradle board, so there is no need to frame any piece.
